My intent is to share, guide and support as I highlight the connection that food plays in our body. Weight loss is only part of it.

I am not a doctor or nutritionist, but for over two decades I have studied, educated, explored, healed and witnessed the miraculous effects food has on the body. Supporting others on their journey to eat clean and feel better. I am a certified wellness coach and have completed online course work through my local community college and Cornell University. I stay informed, always learning.








MY INSPIRATION

In late 2014, my dad went to be with the Lord after being diagnosed that same year with liver cancer. It was the worst time of our lives. I’m sure many of you know that when a loved one is battling cancer it’s all-encompassing. It reaches out and grabs every part of your life, every corner of your mind and every piece of your heart.

It was during this time, that as a family we urged dad to follow an organic vegan diet as part of his daily regime toward wellness. At that time, our parents chose not disclose to us how advanced the cancer was in his body. It all happened so fast and at the same time it was slow agony. My father’s liver cancer, that may have been from contaminated water at Camp Lejeune during his military career, had metastasized throughout his body.

Would an organic alkaline plant based diet have given him more energy and a better quality of life? Only God knows. That painful, insightful and most meaningful period of time has lead me to this time in life. I will tell you what I know for sure is that food is medicine. I have heard this many times.

Facts. The right foods are medicinal and healing to our bodies… right now… where you are in your life… TODAY. Today, eat mostly a plant based diet and organic whenever possible. Work for our body so our body can work for us.

Working for our body involves a few very important things: discipline, consistency and support. I am that support, here to help you with discipline, consistency and preparation.

I miss my dad everyday. He showed me that I could do this. He pointed me in the direction of what to do and to use my whole heart in all of it.
